About Paa Taan

Taantaepin, known as Paa Taan, is a 68-year-old craftswoman and a cherished member of both our craft community and neighborhood. With nearly 20 years of experience, she has been dedicated to practicing and teaching her skills. While she is best known for her expertise in bamboo weaving, her craftsmanship also extends to textile embroidery, paper lanterns, and various other traditional arts.

Paa Taan has been working with Kalm Village since its inception, consistently contributing to th development and teaching of traditional crafts. Her ongoing dedication has made her an integral part of our center’s creative journey.
