Create your own ceramic bird ocarina in a hands-on workshop inspired by the beauty of nature and ancient Pre-Columbian art traditions.

Over the course of 3 hours, you’ll shape, decorate, and finish a unique handmade ocarina.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced maker, this workshop is designed to be a fun and creative experience for everyone.

What is an ocarina?

The ocarina is an ancient wind instrument with a mouthpiece and finger holes. In pre-Columbian Colombia, cultures such as the Tairona and Chibcha crafted intricate ceramic ocarinas in animal forms, using them in sacred rituals and as instruments of spiritual connection.

About Ceremonial Pacha

Ceremonial Pacha is a project founded by Ecuadorian artist Pepe Adrian, dedicated to preserving and reinterpreting the ancient knowledge of pre-Columbian ceramic instruments. Drawing from his studies in ethnomusicology, Pepe explores ancestral ceramic techniques and sound-making traditions, bringing them into dialogue with contemporary visual and auditory experimentation.

มาร่วมสร้างสรรค์ โอคารินาเซรามิกรูปนก ในเวิร์กช็อปลงมือทำที่ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากความงามของธรรมชาติ และศิลปะโบราณในวัฒนธรรมยุคก่อนโคลัมบัส (Pre-Columbian)

ตลอดระยะเวลา 3 ชั่วโมง ผู้เข้าร่วมจะได้เรียนรู้ตั้งแต่การขึ้นรูป ตกแต่ง ไปจนถึงเก็บรายละเอียด เพื่อสร้างโอคารินาทำมือชิ้นพิเศษในแบบของตัวเอง

ไม่ว่าคุณจะเป็นมือใหม่ที่ไม่เคยมีประสบการณ์มาก่อน หรือเป็นผู้ที่คุ้นเคยกับงานคราฟต์อยู่แล้ว เวิร์กช็อปนี้ออกแบบมาให้ทุกคนได้สนุกกับการลงมือทำ ทดลอง และปลดปล่อยความคิดสร้างสรรค์ไปด้วยกัน

โอคารินาคืออะไร?

โอคารินา (Ocarina) คือเครื่องดนตรีประเภทเครื่องเป่าโบราณ มีช่องสำหรับเป่าและรูสำหรับใช้นิ้วปิดเปิดเพื่อสร้างระดับเสียง ในโคลอมเบียยุคก่อนโคลัมบัส (Pre-Columbian) กลุ่มวัฒนธรรมต่าง ๆ เช่น Tairona และ Chibcha ได้สร้างโอคารินาจากเซรามิกเป็นรูปสัตว์อย่างประณีต เพื่อใช้ในพิธีกรรมศักดิ์สิทธิ์และเป็นสื่อเชื่อมโยงกับโลกทางจิตวิญญาณ

Ceremonial Pacha คือโปรเจกต์ที่ก่อตั้งโดย Pepe Adrian ศิลปินชาวเอกวาดอร์ เพื่อสืบสานและตีความองค์ความรู้โบราณเกี่ยวกับเครื่องดนตรีเซรามิกยุคก่อนโคลัมบัส ผ่านพื้นฐานการศึกษาด้านมานุษยดุริยางควิทยา (Ethnomusicology) Pepe สำรวจเทคนิคเซรามิกและวัฒนธรรมการสร้างเสียงจากภูมิปัญญาดั้งเดิม พร้อมนำมาต่อยอดผ่านการทดลองด้านภาพและเสียงร่วมสมัย
