Wing on Wo & Co. (W.O.W.) is the oldest continuously operating store in Manhattan’s Chinatown, with a five-generation-long legacy in the heart of the neighborhood on Mott St. The shop works to breathe new life into cultural craft by reinterpreting tradition through an Asian diasporic lens.

Lineage & Legacy is an exploration of the interwoven histories of porcelain, tracing migratory pathways and material lineages from China’s porcelain capital to New York City. We ask: how can a storefront serve as a site of belonging, storytelling, and cultural production? How can porcelain be a vessel for memory, a conduit for change, and a portal to the future?
