Keep Kalm,
Keeping
Craft Alive
At Kalm, we seeks to build a home for art, craft, and culture, where people can meet, learn, and grow together.
We believe these practices hold the power to educate, engage, inspire, and empower communities.
OUR HOME (ΰΈΰΉΰΈ²ΰΈΰΈΰΈΰΈΰΉΰΈ£ΰΈ²)
Lately, weβve been reflecting deeply on what it means to belongβand how lucky we are to call Chiang Mai our home.
To be in a place where kindness, passion, and diversity live in every corner. Where where strangers smile like old friends and kindness isnβt rare, but woven into the everyday.
A place where history runs deep, yet flows effortlessly into the rhythm of everyday life. Where traditions live not behind glass but in the hands of aunties, artists, artisans and your neighbors.
Here, we are moved and inspired daily by the smallest moments like sunlight filtering through the leaves, birdsong in the morning. Here, river and mountains feel close enough to touch, yet city comforts are never far away β where life feels both tender and wild.
To belong to a city that holds both stillness and momentum.
Home is here.
In the land. In the light. In each other.
In the spaces we create and the community we hold.
Kalm Village is an Art, Crafts, and Culture Center in the heart of Old Town Chiang Mai. Through means of architecture, objects, food, archive, workshops, dynamic exhibitions, residency programs, happenings, and conversations, our goal is to empower local wisdom, makers, and communities, through space and contemporary platforms.
βIn order to carry on our ancestral wisdom, it has to be practiced all the time
like a river flowing.
The river will still be a river and not be left dry
when the old stream flow on, and the new stream flow in to replace continuously.β
Whatβs On
At Kalm Village, we celebrate and explore diverse artistic, cultural, and historical subjects where heritage and innovation converse. Our programs, event, and happenings are thoughtfully curated to foster the understanding and appreciation of the arts, crafts, and cultures in various dimensions.
